Registration Process

We appreciate your interest in Code-O-Fiesta 2023. To ensure a streamlined and equitable registration process, please follow the guidelines below:

Team Registration: Registration for this event is team-based. Students are not permitted to register individually. Assemble a team of 2 to 4 members, ensuring that all members belong to the same academic institution.

Online Registration Portal: Once your team is formed, visit our official registration portal. Find and click on the designated registration link to begin the enrollment process

Idea Submission Process

The success of Code-O-Fiesta 2023 hinges on the creativity and innovation of our participants. To contribute your ideas effectively, please review and adhere to the following submission process:

Problem Statements: Problem statements will be made available on our portal. Teams are required to select a problem statement and craft a unique solution to address it.

Idea Submission Format: A standardized idea submission format has been provided on our official website. Ensure that your submission conforms to this format for evaluation.

Submission Timeline: Idea submission commences on 1/11/2023 and concludes promptly on 19/11/2023. Late submissions will not be entertained.

Team Formation Guidelines

To foster collaboration and diversity, please take note of the following guidelines for forming your teams:

Institutional Affiliation: All team members must belong to the same academic institution. Inter-collegiate teams are not permitted. However, we encourage the formation of teams with members from diverse branches or disciplines within the same institution.

Team Size: Each team must consist of a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 4 members, including the designation of a team leader.

Unique Team Names: Choose a distinctive team name that does not incorporate any reference to your institution's name.

Evaluation Criteria

The judging process for Code-O-Fiesta 2023 will be based on a comprehensive set of criteria to ensure impartial assessment:

Novelty: The degree of originality and innovation evident in the proposed solution.

Complexity and Clarity: The depth of the proposed solution and the clarity of its presentation.

Feasibility and Practicability: The practicality and feasibility of implementing the proposed idea.

Sustainability: The potential for the idea to create a lasting and positive impact.

Scale of Impact: The ability of the solution to reach and benefit a broader audience.

User Experience: Considerations for user-friendliness, accessibility, and user satisfaction.

Potential for Future Progress: The viability of the idea for further development and scalability.

On-Site Competition

For selected teams, the journey continues with an on-site competition hosted at ITS Engineering College. Here are the key details:

Location: ITS Engineering College, 46, Knowledge Park-III, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201308.

Competition Date: 29/11/2023.

Performance Evaluation: Teams will be assessed by a panel of judges during the hackathon. The top 3 teams will be selected based on their performance.

Prizes and Recognition

Outstanding accomplishments during Code-O-Fiesta 2023 will be duly rewarded. The following prizes and recognition await our top performers:

First Position: ₹10,000 in prize money, a prestigious Trophy, and Certificates of Excellence.

Second Position: ₹6,000 in prize money and Certificates of Achievement.

Third Position: ₹4,000 in prize money and Certificates of Merit.

Additionally, all participating teams will receive Certificates of Participation as a token of appreciation.
